Hammeron - 1986

I didn’t know Jeff was in this band…of course the drumming is very cool.

Holy hair metal batman

That album, on vinyl, goes for a lot of money, I’ve seen copies sell for $600+, not my cup of tea, but Jeff was an awesome guy and a great drummer

Yes, but on cd it doesn’t go for much at all. Always wondered why that was. Usually it’s the opposite.

Low Pop Suicide with Jeff also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJvpZnp3G1Q

That video is the most 90s thing i have seen for a long, long time. Ahh, i loved the 90s [:)]

I really liked Low Pop Suicide back in the day.

I once bought a Low Pop Suicide CD.
“This has got Jeff Ward and Rave Ogilvie on it! It’s sure to be awesome!”
I sold it back shortly thereafter.

HAHAA!!! Yeah, same here. I kept the CD (I found it for like a buck, I think) but had the same buying process. Plus it was shortly after he died and people are supposed to get better whent they’re dead.

I just have the EP. I can’t remember the name of it. Songs on it are “Crush”, “Black Hole Babies” and something else. “Crush” was actually a pretty cool track, but the rest was bumwipe.

“On The Cross of Commerce” was their full-length LP. It not only had Jeff Ward, but had a pretty cool album art. I tried getting through it once, but couldn’t.

I like that HAMMERON, though. Full-on 80’s metal. Got a raw Armoured Saint type of vibe to it.

I have that Low Pop Suicide CD too. Got it out of a dollar bin, didn’t realize that Jeff Ward was on it until much later, I picked it up because it was on the same record label as Kristeen Young’s first record, and it was a buck, so what the hey. If I recall correctly, there was one decent song on it. Decent, not great. I think that same trip to the dollar bins also yielded an XC-NN CD (same, one good song), and a Moth CD that was actually OK.

Yeah, here’s the song I liked: http://youtu.be/LSRI9-opxmg

Woah there. XCNN - one good song? I love that album, and the singles too. What song are you referring to?

As for Hammeron - yeah, that’s not actually too bad. I’m not going to listen to the whole album though.

DAVELY!!!

Thanks! That’s the one song I was thinking of that was good. The rest was doodoo.

Here’s the XC-NN song I was talking about, could only find a live version online. It was a log time ago. Maybe I should give that disc another spin.

Here’s the XC-NN song I was talking about

Yeah, that is pretty good.
Here’s the single version of Looking Forward
http://youtu.be/NTTjURo_0Gg - better than on the album. Generally popular with some, if only for the cheeky 2 Unlimited lift.
