GWAR & RevCo connection?

Dunno if anyone here listens to GWAR, but I was listening to their latest release Battle Maximus and the second song Madness At The Core Of Time ends with Dave shouting Attack Ships On Fire over and over. Just wondered if it might be a possible shotout considering that both bands are kinda sleazy, crazy and known for their antics.

Thoughts, opinions or did anyone else notice this?

Well, Al and Paul produced a Gwar song at one point. And they showed a Gwar video while playing Stigmata in the movie Hardware.

I interviewed Dave a couple of months before he died and he addressed it here:::

Wow. That really was right before he died. I don’t remember the exact date, but I know it was early March some time.

It’s kind of fun to see Dave slip in and out of character in that interview. On the phone did he speak in Oderus’ voice the whole time? I suppose it might depend on whether he knew/thought he’d be recorded too. Just curious.

He did!

He started off in Oderus’ voice, with all this reverb booming over the phone;
“HELLO, IS THIS DAN TUCCERI FROM UNBELIEVABLY BAD?”

After about two questions, he spoke as normal, but then for the last few questions he went full Oderus again. Coolest dude. I saw him a couple of weeks later at the festival backstage, and he’s lying on the ground exhausted after he just performed.

I look down at him and go 'Hi Oderus, I’m Dan, I interviewed you for Unbelievably Bad and I just wanted to say…"

“I HATE YOU!!!”, he screams at me like a cranky and overtired child on the verge of tears. It was awesome.

HOLY CRAP!!! That is definitely awesome!!!
Thank you so much for sharing.
