I cut a hole in the bottom of my popcorn tub and asked for extra butter. I’m all about the multi-tasking.

I’ve heard great things about this series so I’m looking forward to it. A few episode titles were already released and they sound amazing.

“Peligro Cries When No One Likes The Stuff He Likes That No One Likes”

Anyway, this should be good.
If not . . . . well, at least it will be wordy.

For some reason these sound like over used plot lines… reruns if you will.

The setting: Rural Idaho. The small, idyllic family oriented community town of Ketchum.

The year: 1987

The gyst:

Fall is slowly giving way to winter. Grmpy Hathaway and Gunnar MacNamara have been friends forever. At least, that’s how it would seem. Eighth grade misfits from salt of the earth backgrounds. There is nothing distinguishable about either of them. Not around these parts anyway. Grmpy is “heavy” for his age - a placid youth with a shock of mousey red brown shoulder length hair, deeply freckled features and a quiet, pensive characteristic that some folks mistake for slow witts.

Gunnar is blonde haired and wiry. Electricity runs through his veins. He maintains a weaselly persona with a thirst for danger. This kid will take you all the way. Folks around these parts keep him on a short leash and for good reason. But he is aching to put some mileage between him and this slow paced community. There is nothing for him here. Only Grmpy keeps him from hitting the open road.

Lights have been seen as of late. Strange lights. They come and go. In the sky, in the woods. Strange noises. Old man Stinson saw something west of his property, down by the place they call The Barren Mile. Something that scared him straight and he endured two tours in 'Nam.

Something is happening. Something is waiting. Watching. This town will never be the same. And neither will these two boys. A change is coming. An ancient evil whose time is at hand.

In the sitcom you are anti Semitic and you have an older brother doing time for manslaughter. And your Chemistry teacher just may or may not be coming on to you. She will be played by the blonde woman who played opposite Arnold Swarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop.
