for you JKB fans- new project. actually reminded me of some Techno Animal/Curse of the Golden Vampire material.
i felt it was similiar in nature to JKB + Cochrane’s work on the first ICE album ‘Under the Skin’ and somewhat to the Curse of the Golden Vampire albums. while those 3 albums are all a bit different (dub-jazz-hop/spaced out dub/electronic grindcore) they sorta set this tone. It’s very different (which is good) from jesu or final.
i like it as far as noise goes. Kinda scary at the end.
I just listened to the free sample of this on my friend’s laptop and it sounded like utter shit. Heavy for the sake of it. Shitty production. Muffled.
But then again it could be the kind of thing that must be listened to on good speakers. I have my doubts…
It was like your friend’s shitty metal band playing in the basement next door or something…
