I don’t think it sounds unreasonable. The part about the acid seems a little overboard, but the getting arrested for smoking on a plane is way more common than you guys may realize . . . even nowadays with the one billion signs and warnings people still try it (and promptly get arrested upon landing).

I don’t really over analyze reports of Al’s outrageousness. He was a psychotic drug-crazed rockstar in his day. He had an over-inflated rockstar ego (still does). He also has quite an apt for exaggeration or imagination.

I just hear stories and just kind of feel “Yeah, that could happen” (like this story) or “That sounds like a complete crock.” (i.e. The ostrich story.)

Ironically, I’m more apt nowadays to believe second-hand accounts and hearsay than I am to believe anything Al says.

But his antics have been pretty well established, so I don’t see anything really outlandish about the above story (aside from the acid part which is reasonable in theory but just seems like it was tacked on to try and make the story juicier).

9 out of 10 maybe 10 out of 10 on here don’t even know what a rider is, so this is true, and why all the sudden interest? that torrent has been up there forever, i should know, i used it years ago…
