Not with out a search warrant they won’t or in a specific area with signs saying as such or if you’re on a public computer! If that passes ACLU will be all over that like a fat kid on candy.

That’s really just a small part of ACTA, which has been in negotiations since 2007.

The international law is meant to discourage copyright infringements on intellectual properties and the selling and distribution of substandard generic drugs, etc.

In any event, the search of media devices in the US was approved by the Department of Homeland Security years ago.

Glenn Beck is quickly becoming every single nutbar that has called in on the Art Bell show!!

if that is what all the hoopla is about then I don’t care because what that is doing is no different than the signs at a school that say “this property is subject to searches by drug sniffing dogs as well as law enforcement. any person(s) or vehicle on this property is subject to search with out warning.”

you don’t want the government snooping around your hard drive don’t go to their site. it’s as simple as you walking through a metal detector when you show up for tour of the white house or even a congressional building. no difference
