Got MiXXX - No Joke.

Could they really not come up with a better title for this one? They should really start taking a clue from the FIX guys and let random people remix this stuff.

Over fifty minutes of non-stop continuous dancefloor RevCo ditties packs RevCo s newest release Got Mixxx? - a raunchy remixxx of the Cock s Spring 2010 release Got Cock?, produced by RevCo founder, Al Jourgensen, and re-mixxxed by Blownload frontman Erie Loch. The 11-track disc juxtaposes trashy subjects with classy high-end production values RevCo’s most powerful sound to date!

Let’s pray he leaves Lard, Pailhead, and Twitch alone.

Its like the Rantology cover, but even suckier.

I would really, really, really like to see the sales figures on these things. They can’t possibly crack fifty copies, right? Are the Jourgensen’s exploiting some sort of weird Texas loophole? Like, able to put out a lot of product as a ‘business’ to get tax breaks or something?

Hey, it worked for Uwe Boll…

How hard would it be for Al to lock himself in a studio with only the equipment used to make Land of Rape & Honey and make an EP of 5 new songs that sound somewhat like LORAH? If the guitar is used, it has to sound like The Missing or Deity. Don’t even need lyrics, just shout a few things into the same device he used for LORAH and a few samples. I would buy it. This recycled shit of shit is sad. I would say 50 people getting this is about right.

I looked below that and saw this???

Ministry - Psalm 69- Jesus Junkie Remix- (feat. Salmonella Fitzgerald) - Single - 13 Dec 2010

Direct link to Jesus Junkie: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/psalm-69-jesus-junkie-remix/id409819937

Does being listed as a Ministry track on iTunes (the sole distributor of it, as far as I can tell) guarantee that this is an authorized Ministry release? It doesn’t particularly sound like one.

Though according to Salmonella Fitzgerald’s website (http://www.krishnavenkatesh.com/), he has performed with Ministry in Europe. When was that?

My guess would be no. There’s a pretty far from legit Pig release on there too. Could be wrong though.

“produced by Revco founder Al Jourgenson”?

How did he “produce” a remix album?

Some idiot added some shitty dancebeats to a shitty album and Jourgenson…what? Twiddled some knobs? Offered encourgement? Provided the beer? Popped his head around the door occasionally and gave the thumbs up?

He is fast becoming the lamest entertainer in history - with the possible exception of Corey Feldman and the fat balloon blower who turned up drunk at my friend’s son’s birthday party.

The Psalm 69 remix is in conjunction with that FIX Tunecore thing.

Al’s been credited as producer of every single release 13th Planet has let out minus the Prong record.

EDIT:

Oh yeah andd…

In these last few years I feel that Ministry is doing the best work we’ve ever done. And it’s perfect to leave it at that. Anything from here on out is a downward fuckin’ spiral. I wouldn’t do that to myself. I wouldn’t do that to the knuckleheads that love us. Just leave it at that.

Quantum Scientists speculate that there are infinite paralell universes existing simultaneously alongside our own, and in each universe, every single possible outcome from every single possible event has transpired.

With that in mind, I’m sure that in some far flung paralell universe, Ministry are still a force to be reckoned with and the prongs board in that particular universe is still brimming with hope and optimism and expectation.

In that particular universe, 13th Planet Records never happened. Hopefully.

Don’t insult Feldog like that. 80’s teen idols and Al are two entirely different types of hasbeen. Yes, Lost Boys 2 sucked but the name isn’t getting dragged thru the mud as bad as the Ministry name. I haven’t seen Lost Boys 3 but I’m sure that will be better than listening to Greatest Tricks or anything else Ministry’s put out past '05.

I imagne he did an amazing little tap-dance while Erie dubbed it up like a true master.

That appears to be the case, though unless I misunderstood the rules completely you weren’t supposed to release it AS a Ministry song.

My own entry was submitted yesterday, btw, and should start showing up with online retailers eventually…

This video is like what Al is doing to Ministry:

This one still works . . .

Yeah unfortunately, there’s some stupid people out there that can’t follow simple guidelines.

Like that Faith No More song says…

‘It shouldn’t bother me, no…it shouldn’t…but it does’.

Its like the Rantology cover, but even suckier.

you people just can’t leave Al’s obsessive need to improve on a product and re-introduce it

no one liked the rantology artwork, but I still play the CD on a CD-R–and I’m sure all the people who are forced to listen to it for one reason or another are thrilled with the sound.

Actually didn’t mind the Rantology cover too much… Only covers I can’t say I liked were pretty much everything after Rio Grande Blood (which I got a kick out of). Not sure if i’m going to even try bothering with this one. Got Cock was pretty terrible. I can’t remember a good thing about it…
