Anyone else tried this yet? thoughts?
so fr i’m digging it. i like how the use the title bar for something other than a title, and it does seem to be pretty fast. too bad no stumble upon yet.
not yet. but i’m planning on it. i’m prob gonna wait till they get a full release.
I’ve been using it about 50% of the time. the only thing I don’t like is opening 3-5 bookmarks in a row. otherwise it’s pretty nice.
Bugs and lack of plugins prevent me from using it now. Once these things are fixed, who knows…
Its a memory hog though. They designed it thinking about future hardware. In fact there was some article that I read a few days ago claiming that the browser takes up more memory all by itself than Windows XP does. Thats pretty extreme, you’ll have to agree:)
It uses the same backend as Safari for the Mac (http://www.webkit.org). I haven’t used it and it’s not out for the Mac but Safari keeps me happy.
