GODFLESH, the industrial metal band from Birmingham, England which formed in 1988 by Justin K. Broadrick (guitar, vocals, and programming) and G. C. Green (bass) and disbanded in 2002, will perform at next year’s installment of the Hellfest, set to take place June 18-20, 2010 in Clisson, France. This will mark the reunited group’s only appearance in Europe.

Broadrick has not said anything official yet. I wonder is it the promoters of the festival are trying to get him on board, he ponders it, meanwhile they announce it, tickets sell faster because Godflesh are way better than any other band on that line up, word of mouth comes back that some people are going to the festival primarily for Godflesh then Broadrick will say “ok”.
If it does go ahead I would consider it. But I have little to no interest in the other bands.
Godflesh to re-unite? Why? This is worse than the Faith No More debacle.

As for this Godflesh reunion…I still won’t believe it until Broadrick confirms it…and even then I won’t believe it until the folk over on the Avalanche forum write their reviews for the show the day after.
