Wonder if this means the Glasgow gig with the Damned and the Angelic Upstarts will be cancelled? A shame if so.
The Exploited were the first punk band that knocked me for six. Hearing UK82 in Made in Britain terrified and enthralled me.

That’s a shame for Wattie. I used to love them years back…I can still enjoy their stuff before they became a metal band…Blown To Bits on their debut is my go to tune…Big John’s riff on that is…BIG.

I gotta admit I did love Beat The Bastards when it came out too…they showed metal bands how it should be done! Some incredibly bad-ass riffs on tunes like If You’re Sad.
The last time I saw them live was in Edinburgh around 2003 or 04 @ Studio 24…there was an old woman behind us who kept screaming out “where’s ya fuckin band Wattie?!”…his band at that stage were all around 20-30yrs younger than him haha
Anyway hope he’s back in good health soon.
Not a fan of Punk’s Not Dead as an album, but there are some corker tracks on it. Blown to Bits being one:
‘AH WROE IT!’
Think Troops of Tomorrow, Horror Epics and Death Before Dishonour are the essential LP’s although I wouldn’t mind Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System on vinyl as I see Nuclear Blast are reissuing the back catalogue as well as doing the new album.

Nice one…the Beat The Bastards original press is pretty damn expensive.
