Dude, that’s CRAZY. I just saw his last special not too long ago.

Man…

HEAVY.

His soul/frisbee idea was brilliant. He was like Bill Hicks in a way, albeit more misanthropic. A funny dude who hit the nail on the head most of the time, pity theres not more people like him.

That’s just fucking sad. Just hearing about it. He was funny as shit, and prolly my favorite comedian. There’s always Dane Coo…wait, no…

Bummer news. I heard Richard Belzer talking about it on Howard on my way in to work, and just read the CNN article. His observations on religion are some of the funniest I’ve heard from any comedian. R.I.P.

1002

wow. sad.

Damn. I just saw him live a couple of months ago. His last act was one of his better ones. Not too often someone is over 70 and still putting out good material.

RIP sir.

I once remarked that if there was one person on this earth who could inspire me to do anything they wanted, it would be George Carlin. Today is a very sad day.

[:(]

He was BRILLIANT!!
you know what kinda guy he was when all of us who never knew the guy personally are saddened to the point where we feel like we’ve lost a best friend!
I’m mopey all day today now, probably tomorrow too!

He had a lot of good ideas!
“Kleenex with little targets on them!!”
“a yo-yo with a mile long rope that you use at the grand canyon”
“A feminine hygiene spray called ‘sprunt!!’”
[laugh]
Late,

You can tell a really good comic when everybody agrees in his genius and everybody can pump out different quotes at any minute that are all roll on the floor laughingly hystarical

“the kid who swallows too many marbles doesn’t grow up to have kids of his own”

The dude is even referred to a few times in Steven Pinker’s latest book ‘The Stuff of Thought’. Respect

he believed in what he was saying and got off on that. didn’t care if anybody else got saved by the words–at one time, seven of them–that is brilliance. and fairly punk rock.heard the npr thing today as well.
