Can Adler even get out of bed nowadays? And aside from having a catchy name, what did Izzy ever do? Post-G’n’R the dude just kind of disappeared off the planet.
Anyway, I’m doubtful that it will happen, but I wouldn’t mind it. I suspect tickets would be ultra-rapey, though.
Adler is all over the place these days. He can still play too, he just can’t speak very well.
The real reason is: He only worked on Appetite. For this reunion, they want to be able to play all the albums through both Use Your Illusion’s.
So it won’t be the “original” line up. . .but rather the “prime” line up.

I heard that aside from Axl,Duff and Slash,it will guys from the latest incarnation and not any Use Your Illusion people(i.e. Gilby Clarke,Matt Sorum etc)…

I’d still be excited to see that tour, i’ve seen Velvet Revolver and the modern Gn’R and Duff’s band, and really enjoyed them all. Gn’R was always my favourite band when i was young, so even seeing Axl, Duff or Slash has been nice, seeing as i never got to see the old lineup. I’ll go, if i can get tickets, if it happens but i won’t be devastated if it doesn’t happen.

Yeah, quite a few. I only heard the first and one other. First one was great.
I never got into Velvet Revolver.
And about a month ago I made the mistake of buying CHINESE DEMOCRACY. It was $3 in the clearance section. I really wish I’d kept those $3.
Yeah, i was never much of a fan of Velvet Revolver myself, but i enjoyed their live show.
I loved Chinese Democracy though, hahaha.

I honestly expected to like this one. I usually like the dark horse albums that everyone else hates, but this one just fell flat for me. I’ll try giving it another spin on my own eventually, as the first time I played it was while riding in my wife’s car.

It was short lived. I saw them perform once with him at The Roxy. It was not a good match.
