Ugh So i bought myself a used copy of what was labeled the dvd/audio version of animositisonima. But when i opened the thing it was just the normal version. Couldn’t return the cd cause it was opened, only exchange it for another copy if defective. Yeah it was only 3 bucks but still, that shit pisses me off. At least now i have a copy of the cd though. yeah it’s the 2nd to last minstry cd i need to fill out the main collection (w/sympathy is next to find)

Don’t know what consumer rights/laws are in your area but if the product is not as described you should be entitled to a full refund.
Am I right in thinking all of the warner Ministry catalogue is out of print so you’ll only be able to pick up 2nd hand and older unsold copies in shops? Whenever I checked music shops for Ministry cds they either had nothing or had everything (including W/Sympathy). I’m trying to imagine if younger audiences will appreciate 80s+90s Ministry in a decades time or so. Will Ministry cds be going for high prices on amazon + ebay? Will vinyl Ministry be valued collector’s items? It’s interesting to think about. All I know is my kids will be getting the low down on the beasts that were Landy, Mindy, Filthy and Darky.

I doubt it. Ministry vinyl is cheap as chips on discogs.

They sometimes have a nice selection though. But yeah, they are very overpriced. Only reason i’d ever buy anything there would be because they have something, and I don’t feel like just ordering online and waiting. Amazon’s pretty much got everything I need.
I can’t remember the last cd I bought in a music shop… it’s been years. I kind of feel sad for the smaller, better music shops but then again unless they sell their stuff for less than €10 it’s a rip off.
the only reason to shop at fye is the used section. they had a sale that was 20% off used plus the extra 10% off for having a member card. so it was a 30% off. That’s usually when i hit them up, otherwise fuck that store. overpriced and as ignorantly staffed as best buy
Where I live, there aren’t any small indie shops. It’s either fye, best buy,
or book stores now. So I basically decided to just go the online route for music now. I’ll go to best buy for my video games still though.
