go to the pissarmy…Mrs Jay has posted 5 topics!

For those too lazy to go to Piss Army and look or those who just abhor going there here’s the scoops :

1 - Al and Co. are discussing the option of having another online chat sometime soon. I’ll let you all know when it comes up for those of us here who would be interested in it.

2 - Gibby Haynes has officially been dubbed the new lead singer for Revolting Cocks. He has already laid down the vocals for one track and will be back in the Fall to finish the rest of them with the album slated for an early 2006 release. Some “tentative” titles for the songs are mentioned by Al himself stating :

“It’s pretty fucking juvenile,” Jourgensen laughed. “There’s a cover of [Jimi Hendrix’s] ‘Purple Haze’ on there called ‘Purple Head.’ Other songs are ‘Prunetang,’ ‘Too Small to Taste’ and ‘Beat It Till You’re Tired.’ It’s so childish because we’re having a gas. We’re 45-year-old juvenile delinquents. It’s good work if you can get it.”

3 - A Ministry/Revolting Cocks tour is now officially in the works for Summer 2006. Dates will be firmed up as soon as possible and posted.

4 - Al has finally finished remixing the track “Enchanted Thoughtfist” from the collaborative efforts of Jello Biafra and The Melvins. You can read more about this at http://www.alternativetentacles.com or go to this link http://www.alternativetentacles.com/product.php?product=843&sd=Z@5iVofmBy6eSfZZ@cA if you just want to skip straight to the page about the album. It’s out. Came out in 2004 so they say. I’m just wondering where we can get a hold of the remix to check out.

5 - Mrs. Jay and Co. have signed a new guy to their label or team or whatever. We’ve already heard all this. It’s that Sypderbaby guy. You can check out his page at http://www.spyderbaby.net but if you just want the news she posted it is this :

Al recently did a re-mix of SB’s song: “Bitter” which will be on the new Spyderbaby to be released this fall…AND we’ll be doing a showcase at Bar Sinister July 16th in Los Angeles (the same place we had the LA record release party). SB’s also done an amazing cover of “Every Day is Halloween” to be featured on the new release as well.

Ok folks. That’s all the news from Angie over at Piss Army so you don’t have to torture yourself and go over there now. And now that we have all this news let the many threads of griping, excitement, and everything else that we’re good at begin. =)

Peace!

Krowe
