Yeah, the whole “what do you mean ‘you people’?” thing has been around since looong before that Tropic Thunder.
Ross Perot, hahaha! Now that there was some crazy ass politickin’. I technically worked for his campaign back in '92. Wow. If you ever want to change your view on Democracy and be reminder that perhaps “We the People” aren’t necessarily equipped to take the reins of this great nation . . . Get your ass to a Ross Perot rally (or whatever the 2013 grass roots man-of-the-people knockoff is).

Yeah, I remember the Ross Perot thing and all that, but these days it’s most commonly a reference to the exchange in that film.
“What do you mean, ‘you people’?”
“What do YOU mean, ‘you people’?”
“What?”

2013 Ross Perot=Ron Paul. both have RP initials. anyone need any more proof?

The artwork’s shit (didn’t mind that photo of Al on the throne, tho), the album name’s shit, and the music is probably gonna be sub par when weighed up against old Ministry. But that being said, a below average Ministry album is better than a lot of the tosh being put out by his younger contemporaries. I don’t mind the ‘Slayistry’ era when you weigh it up against a lot of the more mainstream metal out there, but that being said, it’s not the first thing I’d put on the record player in the evening.
Anyway, I don’t think this will be the last Ministry album. Al’s a creative soul and while he knows he should probably stop and go lecture history or whatever (would probably have a hard time doing that now with the pin-cushion face), deep down he doesn’t want to and like any artist, would consider the latest thing he’s put out to be the greatest thing he’s done. Even if it ain’t. Them’s the breaks. Early stage Alzheimers? Fuck it, I’m calling him Alzheimers Jourgensen from hereonin.
I thought he was off the hereonin.
There is a behind the scenes video for the cover shoot of the From Beer to Eternity up on youtube…with a new song…
Great, I’ll just click the link you provided…
Or not. Smooth move.

This looked expensive. Beats me why the budget wasn’t used for a video instead.
Ugh, weak song, just more of the same chugga-chugga metal riffing and those embarrassing cookie monster vocals that Al seems to favor lately. This could have been on The Last Sucker.
1002
Yeah, it sounds pretty shitty.

whatever ,dude…I was at work and had limited time…sorry it was so taxing for you to go to youtube and search for it…
I did go to Youtube and search for it. It didn’t come up.
Anyway, this new song blows.
soooo, seemingly expensive photo shoot when completed artwork (not just the front cover) looks over-processed and over-digitized anyway. i wonder if they did same thing for the relapse cover.
the song, as someone said, is more of the same (last sucker/relapse), so yeah, not much there. oh yeah, it still has a drum machine!

I was wondering the same thing about how expensive and elaborate the photoshoot looked when they just wound up photoshopping the shit out of it anyway. Waste of money.
Not impressed with the new song.
Sounds like an extra track from last sucker. I like last sucker. I’m ok with this song but its not groundbreaking. Just good noise.

New song is…decent…better than I expected given the reactions on here.
I liked that it was more sludgy and mid tempo with odd time signatures and no thrash solos.
I haven’t heard much from ‘Last Sucker’ but it seemed less speed/thrash metal than that album…
Still too juvenile/political lyrically from what I caught and also from the samples, but that’s his bag now I suppose…
I just wish he’d have effected the vocals more or something. I think the delivery really is reminiscent of, say “Lava” but without the effects he was using back then it sounds a bit silly.
If this song had been produced properly, with real drums and good vocal effects, it wouldn’t sound so far from songs like “Crumbs” and “Useless” off ‘Filth Pig’ and I think people would like it more.
Still a tad optimistic. Obviously signing with Cleopatra has increased their promo budget. The shoot was indeed ruined by excessive photoshopping but conceptually it is more interesting to me than what was going on before with the Bush Trilogy covers.
I really liked the ‘Animositisomina’ artwork…very simple and effective…I think that will probably be the last great cover art from Ministry…
Pic of him on the throne was pretty cool though…
You’ve got to be kidding me that’s the cover. LOL [:)]
My first reaction is that it’s hilarious, Al still has a sense of humor, but I’m still not going to listen to it.

Yeah, I was listening to Filth Pig yesterday…love Gameshow.
