First off, thanks for sharing this. It’s nice to get little surprises like this.
There are a few decent cuts here. Nice mix up of songs too ranging from Work for Love to songs from Animositisomina. I liked your ‘Scarecrow’ cover and the ‘Apathy’ cover made me want to hit the rave and take a few yokes, if ya know what I mean. It also reminds me of that secret level/section of ‘Doom’ on the playstation where there suddenly is a rave (but alas there was no skobies). ‘The Fall’ cover is quite good, might have been great if the drums were a bit calmer (but that was probably the intention). There are some duds: ‘Nursing Home’ and ‘Thieves’ get raped.
However the highlight, hands down, is ‘Corrosion’. It’s a fucking beast and is worthy of an official Ministry song. It’s basically just Corrosion slowed down but it sounds vicious on a loud system.
Most Ministry cover albums are a disaster but this has some nice bits. Thanks again and stick around.
Why thanks guys I was a little afraid I’d get chased with pitchforks for spamming but hey, I got a job to do. I’ve actually been a member for years I just haven’t posted regularly in a while…kinda happens when you’re forced to sign up to 500 forums and annoy everyone. Ah, promotion, how I hate thee. There are a few head-scratchers on the comp for sure, but all in all it’s a refreshingly different take instead of a bunch of identical re-hashes. I too really liked “The Fall” cover, as well as the first couple tracks…played back to back they flow well I think.
And thanks Mick for the kind appraisals. Our tracks were actually started close to 7 years ago and then dug up and updated. I’m particularly proud of “Scarecrow” and I dunno if I can ever do those vox again haha…those distortions were accidental but I love how murky and monstrous they are.

If Dark Side of the Poon comes together successfully we should seriously consider it.
EDIT: As I continue to listen, I’d say a prongs tribute would have to have the rule “no sampling the original song.” Some of the stuff on here sounds more like remixes than remakes.
Fuck! This sounds right up my alley! Awesome fuck yeah! Downloading now. I LOVE that obscure and awesome “Barker era” tracks like “Shove” and “Nursing Home” are covered here. Really great! I will give in depth feedback after listening.

Upon more listening you could boil down the choices down to Scarecrow, The Fall, TVII (Hypodermic version), Corrosion. There is a lot more stinkers than I first detected. I think the problem with a lot of them are the vocals. Reload was ok but the vocals kind of detract from it. Any of the songs by Revolutionary/Evolutionary band are ruined for the most part by the singer. It’s shame because they do the Animositisomina songs.
Still though it’s cool to hear covers of Filth - Anim era. A lot of the songs are decent templates as the guitars are not too intricate and there’s enough room to fit in other elements. I remember riffing Animosity before and I was changing bits and pieces and it sounded cool along with the drums in the background.
Well if you guys do get another trib going here we’re in, actually working on an “Isle of Man” cover now for a future release…we’d hurry it up and maybe make a special mix of it to contribute.
“Reload” is very amusing as well. I really love this trashy Industrial kitsch with the uber shitty vocals. Kind of like a horrible B movie but it has value as humor.
This should be Peligro’s new favorite album.
EDIT - Listening to “Work For Love” now by Sick to the Back Teeth. They (he?) were actually on my ‘Every Day is Halloween’ noise compilation…
Thanks for posting this dogulas, there are a few real gems on here. It is interesting to hear The Fall as almost a shoegaze anthem. Apathy, and Scarecrow are both well done too.
Anguish in Exile’s All Day cover made me smile it reminded me of the first time I heard Laibach’s cover of Get Back.
Glad to see our tracks getting love. I was a little afraid both were a little too straightforward, but I think redoing the tracks 100% electronically kinda makes you think back to Twitch & the 2nd half of LORAH. I know I can’t be the only one that wishes they would have cranked out a few more purely electro-oriented tracks. Al’s keyboard riffs always were just as sick as his guitar ones.
