I’m quite excited, this will be their first show in Cleveland in 19 years.
Prepare for devastation…
Aaaaand the Toronto date conflicts with Riot Fest.
That is quite a fucking conundrum.
Prepare for devastation…
There has to be someone killed…
hoping to catch the LA show.
also, a new JK Flesh album was just released on his bandcamp. I’ve listened to about half of it so far and it is GOOD. no vocals. later day Techno Animal crossed with some White Static Demon or something.

Yeah, the new JK Flesh is tremendous…I definitely hear Techno Animal in there and also some Sidewinder elements…each time I listen I like it more and more…
Next up for JKB is his collab with Mark Kozelek…I am a huge Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon fan so I am really looking forward to that…I think the release date has been moved up to Jan…
don’t know the other guy’s work, but I’m looking forward to new Jesu…been too long, should be good!
new Final coming out on vinyl in Nov. waiitng for the digital download of that. Final’s my favorite JKB project.
Saw the show on Friday in Montreal. It was well worth the 20+ years I’ve been waiting to see them. Show was loud as hell though. I was 2-3 rows from the front, and even though I had earplugs, my ears were still ringing after.
Set list was 5-6 songs off the new album, then 5-6 old ones. Good stuff.
I brought tons of cash hoping they’d have tons of obscure CDs/vinyl for sale, but there was only Tshirts/hoodies.
Best part was as I was walking to the show…
First of all, I had to drive right by the venue Motorhead was playing at. WTF books Motorhead and Godflesh on the same night at different venues (bastards).
Anyways… I had to park 5-6 blocks away and as I am walking, I hear this guy say ‘where the hell is this place again’ and I look, and its Justin. So I go up to him, and say follow me… and we had a nice 5 minute talk on the way. I tried not to be too fanboy to him. Just told him I’d been waiting 20 years to see him, and how much I loved his stuff. Mentioned a few of his side projects on the way. He seemed genuinely appreciative and was quite nice considering he was in a rush to get the the venue.
Good times.
Why was Justin Broadrick wandering around 5 blocks from his venue?

Net JKB on a number of occasions…always very cool…Benny as well…
GF has always been scant when it comes to merchandise…I saw them on the Songs of Love and Hate tour and their merch consisted of 1 t-shirt…

Not sure. Maybe he went to eat or something, and forgot how to get back? There were 2 opening acts, and we walked in when the second act was on their second to last song. He cut it pretty close.
Behold, another Broadrick side project…
For those of you who like mind-melting rhythmic noise, Justin will be collaborating with ‘Shapednoise’ on an album coming out on December 3 on Type Recordings…there’s a [url https://vimeo.com/141723628]video teaser of it now and probably some full-length tracks to follow soon.
