For the Godflesh fans

Ordered from Inoxia. I’ll have to wait a few days before it arrives but I want a PHYSICAL copy of the bonus cd with the artwork and all that shit.

Why? Because I’m anal.

The whole of Side 2 of this record is the bomb.

If Akbar likes it, it must be good. It’s not like she is some shameless fan girl whose tongue is always up Justin Broadrick’s ass.

What Akbar says goes fool!

I think someone is a little jealous of our super awesome music hero Justin makin an ass kickin album haha

Album is officially out. If you get it off their bandcamp it comes with 3 bonus Dub tracks. I’m guessing the Dub album was scrapped?

Ask Mothra…

Hopefully my “Japanese version” has shipped by now?

As a Godflesh fan from around 1991/1992, I can honestly say that there are songs on here (and their new EP that came out earlier) that rival anything they’ve ever done. And that as you all know is a rarity for an artist that’s been for almost 30 years. Standout track for me was “Shut Me Down”. Living like it’s 1992 again…

I agree…I like it more with each spin…it’s definitely a back to basics album…so anyone who loves their earlier stuff really should like it…

Broadrick can do no wrong…

Yeah the more I play it the more I think it’s a classic. It’s nostalgic but also contemporary Godflesh.

I have held off listening to anything of A World… except for the first track which I thought was so so.

But I’m hearing good things about it and should have my own copy by the middle of this week.

Totally agreed…it kicks all kinds of ass…so worth the wait…

I think he really nailed it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuCv_Nt7Bkk

Definitely looking forward to October now! Godflesh, Day 2 of California Deathfest, and if I’m able to book a gig on Halloween or the night before!

First time Godflesh is in Montreal.

So excited!
