Here you have a stadium (sparsely filled) which is very clearly voicing their dissent and a bunch of turkeys choosing to just railroad stuff through and ignore their own people. As for the empty arena that Lord pointed out, this is an interesting point. Last night the talk on the news was about how they were going to change the venue from a massive open stadium because they didn’t think they could fill it and they didn’t think it would look good on TV.

you can think that but there is no denying real leadership versus a hack. just compare Clinton’s 8 years to W’s 8 years.
Took Reagan and Bush I 12 years to really devastate the economy and Clinton about 6 years to fix it. along comes Bush’s kid and he ruins it worse than his daddy and Reagan ever could in about 4 years.
So, no two politicians are alike, some turn out to be real leaders.

it has to come from the people. but most are sleeping, and half of those that are awake don’t care.

you see it in the schools like I do man. these kids need to be educated.properly educated, and not always what the board and the system wants us to teach them. parents need to care and have family structures again. THAT in itself will make a big difference in the development of this country…

I see the approach you’re taking. and you’re definitely right but in order for those things to happen we’re gonna need a leader that can help establish those things again.
Hard to have really educated kids when you have politicians on the right messing with the law so a teacher can be sued if you teach their child about the penis and the vagina and then go on to also want bible stories passed off as fact in science class.
Hard to have family structures and parents who care when they have to work multiple jobs just to keep from being homeless. the Policy at the top influences/dictates just how much your companies take advantage of you. The quicker we get a leader to address these issues the quicker we’re on the path to fixing things and romney is a huge step backwards in this direction, so again I say one politician is not necessarily like the other.

I wish leaders of our countries were more in the vein of Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa, not from a religious perspective, take that out actually, and keep the love and compassion they have and preach and do. But that won’t happen in our lifetime.
