Very cool. Thanks for your post Afra. BTW I registered for the site and this is the reply I got:
"Welcome to the FIX Nation!
Are you really ready for an uncensored movie about MINISTRY??? That’s what FIX is, and it’s coming soon.
Meanwhile, brace yourself, there’s a ton of stuff you might expect like exclusive footage and hearing new tracks before anyone else - but there’s way, way more in the pipeline and the more of you who sign up, the more we’ll be able to do.
We meant it when we said you’re our top priority - go listen now to the new Barker track about 100 times and share it with all your friends."
Really digging the barker track. I’ve been excited about new Flowering Blight since I got the CD and read that it was older material (the thought then arose that there would be newer material done as well).
The movie looks cool. It looks like it’s the Filth Pig era, which is really cool (Filth Pig and DSOTS are my favourites). And I saw Rey Washam in there, which is cool. It’s really a shame that he is not out there any more (last I heard, which was when he deleted his myspace page, he was starting a new life as a stay-home dad). Too bad, he is one of my favourite rock drummers (Scratch Acid, Rapeman, and Ministry… awesome).
Cool, didn’t notice this last night. Downloaded the track, it’s pretty good. Not as good as “Perfect Pair Pt. 1” but better than most the rest of that album.
Very pleased with ‘Heroine’s Habit’. The bass is the best element, really cool Barker rumbling. The production is a cut above that on the Flowering Blight album. The backing vox on the chorus is a bit wonky but otherwise this is a good sign for whatever Barker has coming. I also feel Barker’s vox are best suited to verses and he should employ a different singer for the chorus but that’s just a side note.
Registered for the Barker song. It’s great…minus the vocals. He really needs to hook up with a singer or something. It’s a real shame because I’ve enjoyed almost all the Flowering Blight music. The voice just kills it.
As for the movie, looks really promising. I can’t wait to see it! I think this will bring about renewed interest in the band post-Psalm 69. And looks like Barker is getting the recognition he deserves for his role.
I can’t imagine this is Jourgensen/Angie sanctioned otherwise we’d never see a Barker download along with it, or his face at all for that matter. Right?
I actually don’t mind his vocals at all. When ogre sings, he can sing like that, and I like it. So it doesn’t bother me at all. But, maybe there’s a middle man? Someone who organized the interviews and so on? Al could probably shut this down easily if he wanted to probably. So i’m guessing both Al and Paul are involved in this, on opposite sides.

I thought he already tried to shut it down… this was up as a 3-disc set on amazon for a week or something, then it dissapeared and all references to it were deleted from the PA or something wierd… eh… maybe it was just too early promotion rather than trying to squash it… who knows.
