Finds

I got hooked up with this guy who listed a couple Blackouts things on ebay. Turns out he has some affiliation with Engram Records (the label Men In Motion was released on). He was kind enough to send me several goodies including a poster with some 1980 show dates, some unused lables and record sleeves, a copy of Men In Motion on cassette (which I thought was only released on 12"), a cassette release by a band called The Sequencer People including none other than Roland Barker. Best of all, I finally got my hands on Roland’s solo album, The Eternal Optimist. I’d emailed Roland about this one years ago and he basically told me to give up looking for it, since the label went under as he was finishing it. Guess a couple copies made it out. It’s a cassette release off Engram - mostly laid back, simple electronic stuff. Think Chris Carter’s first solo album. As an extra bonus, listed in the credits is Paul “Ion” Barker doing bass and guitar. Didn’t think I’d ever get a copy of this, but it’s pretty cool to have.

Anyone else make any cool finds lately?

Was looking for this for a while & got it tonight:

Zilch - Bastard Eyes (Remixes)…since Hide basically killed himself, Zilch is a band not well known; Paul Raven plays bass. Pretty interesting industrial weirdness.

Wow, holy crap. Be sure to let me know what to put up on the discog: donevertest@gmail.com

I’m hopefully going to interview Stephen George soon. Here’s hoping.

Long time no post. Damn. Sup guys?

Just picked up the PISS single from ebay as well as the No W. Finally got my SECOND copy of the SPHINCTOUR 1996 BOOT, so now I’m owner of 282 and 345.
Also, it hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m seriously stoked about finding the Double LP from Slash’s Snake Pit for 40 bucks (It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere)
Pending is a store that says they can get me the Overflow Boot. So here’s for hoping.
Late,
