finally rupert murdoch is about done

Also the guy that blew the whistle on murdochs little law breaking phone tapping bullshit has been found dead. Coincidence? Probably not.

Wonder why msnbc won’t even touch this scandal?

This shits been going on for a while now and barely a peep?

If there’s any justice in this world rupert will be penniless and in jail very soon and fox news will go with him.

Murdoch will unlikely be punished for any of this. But it is great to see his empire crumble. He and his sort are a disgrace.

Murdoch is a god!

His wife is like 80 years younger than him and a total scrapper. I think I’m in love.

Murdoch will die a rich and protected man.

But, he’ll never be content. He probably never was to begin with. I could elaborate on that, but I can’t be bothered right now. As far as I’m concerned, this chipping away at his empire, no matter how incremental as his mind may try to perceive and rationalise it, would push him a few steps away from the feeling of contentment people like him chase all their lives.

It’s good that a lot of people seem to have come to their senses and have ‘done something’ about the whole thing, but really, he’s still got his wealth and still run an unhealthy share of the media. If anyone’s really lost out, it’s the people who got the sack from News of the World.

I get the feeling this may be one of those things that evokes a lot of outrage for a few weeks, and then everyone goes back to forgetting it happened and people like Murdoch continue to go about their merry way. But, the reaction to this is a good sign of the times, nonetheless.

I’m just amazed such conflicts of interest when it comes to power have only just been outlined in light of the saga. Berlusconi’s had a grip on the media for years in Italy and runs the fucking country, and we don’t really hear much about that.

That’s what I’m fearful of too. that they’re just “chipping away” and the with the short attention span of the public nothing is really gonna be crumbled because the amount of time it takes to chip away a castle the public doesn’t have. I’m fearful that this is going to be a footnote in murdoch’s empire, a speed bump at the very least. that sucks for the people that got sacked. you would think that another outlet would’ve bought the paper and tried get it back to respectable but I guess that didn’t happen

Sucks that the guy that did the right thing is now dead. what a price to have to pay.

you think we’ll see Rupert showing up to his hearings in a “stop Snitchin” t shirt.
