so close but I didn’t.!
That thing has been available for at least a year or more (i think from the same seller) Ive not seen anyone bid on it ever. Its not worth 100 bucks. If it was 19 dollars instead of 119 dollars i would’ve swooped in long ago but it ain’t worth it.
It’s been floating about eBay for a lot longer than a year now.
Box sets are cool, but how much is a box really worth? It seems they are always overpriced.
In a perfect world, they would be priced according to content.

The problem is when labels/bands issue “boxsets” for a single album and it only consists of the album . . . and some stupid cheapo souvenir. 20 years ago we’d get BOX SETS which were sets that required a box on account of having more than one disc worth of content, and those discs would typically also include some stuff that wasn’t already available in the normal off-the-shelf album (some studio demos, some live tracks, a cool booklet with rare photos, etc.).
Okay, I just realized this box IS 20 years old, but we see this type of bullcrap far too often NOW than it was back in the day.
A box set should be either a collection of albums put in one nice box (I got a nice Simon and Garfunkle boxset from Costco about 10 years back and it had 5 albums for like $30), or a bunch of stuff not available through other means. Period.

Indeed.
And taking this one as an example . . . (pricing high intentionally)
CD - $15
T-Shirt - $20
Box - $10 (extra surcharge for owning something you and 5 other people on the Prongs board think is “cool”)
No one should pay more than $45 for this “boxset”. Ever.
I just read this whole thread yet all I’m picturing is Gunnar sitting on a rock contemplatively while listening to Scarbourough Fair as the wind blows through that glorious hair…haha

This. Also since this particular item has been opened, it should automatically be priced as a used item.
Some items are rare and collectors will pay top dollar for them. This isn’t one of those items.
HAHA!!! I never read the description. For some reason I was thinking it was still new.
I bet good money the shirt was tried on as well.
a pin a cd and a shirt in a box.
not worth 20 bucks
They could have at least thrown in a Santa hat.
they shouldn’t call it a boxset. it’s only one CD.
