As for Burton, well he’s always been a huge Ministry fan so no surprise there.
I know, I have all FF albums up to Digimortal… I dont go much on it really… it has so many “nu-metal” elements to it. Some of it is ok, but I do a bit of skipping. I heard Archtype or whatever it was, it was ok, a bit more metal… but I took it back as the bonus dvd was stuffed.
I still like Obsolete, however some of it does now get on my nerves a bit…
Saw them at one of their first shows after they booted dino… I thought it was a pretty good set…
Their cover of “Cars” was not bad at all, I must admit…wack video but the song itself came across pretty nicely.
Speaking of Numan…did anyone EVER think 15-20 years ago that the day would eventually come when Gary Numan would release an (arguably) more listenable and (arguably) harder hitting album than Uncle Al?
I find Numan’s latest albums to be pretty unremarkable musically speaking (too much NIN worship) but he is sometimes able to come up with a haunting lyric or two…

I can’t stand 85% of Obsolete myself. I just listen to De/Remanufacture sometimes but everything after that disappointed me.

so do I, except maybe the Heartache EP that is one of my favourite record. what he did after… except 2 or 3 songs, and the ending of the Silver EP…
but it’s still great live. well… if you shut your eyes and let yourself guide by the music

Yeah I would agree with most of that, Ministry have become a bit of a joke really. They’ve lost that sense of experimentation that made them so great in the first place. Nowadays it seems that they exist purely for Al to vent his spleen at the American government.

i find it hard to believe you just compared burton to spyderbaby. i guess if you don’t like either they’re the same to you, but man, spyderbaby was sooooo bad, i’d think you’d at least give burton more credit than that.
i love FF, even though digimortal and the newest album are kinda weak, they always put on a great show i i like burton vox. when i saw he was going to be on the record, my ears perked up a bit

Your really reaching for something thats just not there if you haven’y accepted Ministry is just a giant joke now. Honestly, I tried to deny it and stopped lurking on here b/c of all the negativity. After a few months i realized they really do suck now and people on this board were right.

while your opinion is yours and everyone here respects that. the point at hand here is if you think ministry sucks then why are you here? why do you and the other bitch-ers, moaners, and whiners still post? it is simply to “troll” and get others pissed.
so if you were with a lover and you “HATED” them and thought they were “worthless” would you continue to stay with them and just badger and provoke them? seems so. and to my point - seems like those of you that feel that way would value your own time more. but it doesn’t seem so. sad.

Ha LOL you’re assuming this guy has had a relationship WITH A MEMBER OF THE OPPOSITE SEX in order to understand your comparison. STILL I got the comparison. It’s a reasonable one at that.
