its a early Ministry track that was never released. As for a link to the track i will be working on that.
I only have “I See Red (take 2)” for comparison, but sounds pretty much the same - basis wise for the track.

I don’t think Ministry ever throws anything away. If they can’t get it to work as “I See Red” they turn it into “Favorite Things”. “Noreen” not coming together? Save it and make it into “The Fall”. I suspect much of Cocked And Loaded is leftover from Houses of the Mole, and I think I remember reading that Lard’s Pure Chewing Satisfaction is made from Psalm 69 leftovers.

it was one of the early songs available for dwnld on prongs awhile back & now listening to it again…yeah there’s kinda similar feel to it (rhythm-wise).
some of the ministry-based songs were later migrated to other projects, i see red is one of them. “stick” became “i will refuse”. it also sounds like “eyes of christ” was remade into “apathy” or other way around. lead into gold’s “idiot” was once a “ministry” track as well, forgot the name; thrill kill kult (song) was later released by that band, but it was made with ministry when frankie was in the band, or something like that, even played live in 86.

I remember reading revolver mag in '06 and they asked Al about Prune Tang, and from the sound of things it was supposed to be on RGB. I know Rey Washam did the drum track as an instrumental version was on his old myspace labeled as an uncredited drum track from HOTM. Don’t bother looking for the profile, he deleted it. So yeah ur probably right on CAL being HOTM bsides. You can really hear it in Devil Cock.

The music for the ‘Thrill Kill Kult’ song later became Lead Into Gold’s Hatred which was played live on the '87 tour with Barker on vocals.
@Gila I think you have TKK (song) mixed up with Tonight We Murder which I believe Frankie did with Ministry
nono, chemical meat got it right. it became LIG song with barker on vocals and different lyrics.

It was basically “The Fall” but without the chilling keyboards (which totally make the song) and with non-descript vocals. I was told that “Noreen” was one of the creations of the “W.E.L.T.” project with Ogre.
I think I deleted the track after someone sent it to me as I didn’t find it worthy to listen to again, but if I can find it over the weekend I’ll let you know.
