Many of my favorite musicians these days are female from folk (Marissa Nadler) to pop (Grimes) to metal (Purson) to experimental noise (Pharmakon). Girls are kicking ass in music right now.

i detested female singers growing up
however
at one point i spent some time with Sheryl Crows first two albums

then it was dark

then i fell for a girl i use to make fun of (with an ex, vocally)
once i fell for this girl i started to appreciate female singers more

at the moment :
