Noooooooo. One of the reasons i like prongs is because of the raw unfiltered knee jerk reactions. If youre gonna sugar coat shit here then why bother? I never saw whatever the comments were that inspired the most recent circle jerk, but it’s funny that people are using the term “political reasons” for why VOIDY removed comments.

I thought Chris’ babble was pure politics. Sucking up to Al in 2018? Why? Because Cocksure gigs can barely fill the corner of Starbucks? And he used the political arena as a facade to speak on the topic. As if Al Jourgensen just woke up in 2018 to come outta the closet as a lefty and start barking accordingly.

I always thought Chris was entertaining with Ministry/RevCo and if he ever got back with Al that would be pretty cool. But I’m not planning to just conveniently forget that ON PRONGS he was a big fruity self-absorbed emo baby.

If he ever came back for another go, I’d reassess accordingly, but I don’t see that happening so I’m quite okay remembering him soiling his diaper and running home to his mommy as my last memort of him.

As for “hipsters” . . . I roll my eyes anytime anyone uses the word in 2018. It usually just indicates disdain for someone perceived to be younger and/or cooler than the person using the word. There used to be some sort of uniting characteristics and subculture, but now it’s like . . . “Oh, that person likes microbrews, bacon, and skinny pants . . . fucking hipster.” Uhhhh, doesn’t EVERYONE like beer and bacon? And the only people who don’t like skinny pants are the ones too fat to wear them (they’re not doing my beer gut any favors, though).

Anyway, I would have loved to have seen Void’s comments so I could respond with a bit more knowledge, but I suspect people are just shitting their trousers for no better reason than they like the feel of hot mud in their crotch.

It is a weird quote, actually.
I think Chris is a big pusscake, but I don’t give one shit about whether Al likes him or not. I think Chris is talented and entertaining. My assessment of him as a big snivelling baby is strictly based on his behaviour on Prongs.

And, yeah, hardly a meaningful use of “hipster”, as I noted is the case in 99% of the cases I hear/see.

All that said . . . I do agree with what I’m thinking is Voidy’s opinion of Chris. I mean, what the fuck? Chris changes his mind all of a sudden because Al comes out (in album form) against right wing radicalism and Trumphumpers? First off, who gives a flying fuck about Al’s politics. Second . . . . it’s been consistent in ideology and focus for pretty much the last 30 years, hasn’t it?
