So this dude I know from noisefest (his solo noise act is Jigsaw Rhetoric, also has a duo called Dear Satan with Jeff from Oblive) is now playing guitar in this five-piece “metallic hardcore” band Everything Went Black, and they’re about to drop their debut full length on Lost Shepherd/Prosthetic Records.

and you can buy it as of 1/17. I had no idea about any of this until I saw it on facebook just now, but it looks to me like they are really going to do well off of this one. I really hope you guys check this out, I think this one will probably be the best-received-by-prongers recommendation I’ve made yet. At least, for all the metalheads. They’ll be hitting the road this month with stops in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, and Kentucky. Looks like mostly house shows, which should be pretty wild.
