Maybe this ones obvious, but it’s not listed on Prongs sample list. Pretty cool, I noticed while at a clothing store today playing James Brown and have been listening to the Early Trax CD a lot recently.
yes, i always wondered what that scream was. until actually few weeks earlier i was listening to his 4cd boxset “Startime”, and that track came to play, and boom, that Halloween scream.
too bad i actually forgot about it in a day.
Who HASN’T sampled James Brown?! His band is the most sampled in the business because they were simply the deadliest. Check out the albums James Brown’s Funky People Vol 1 & 2 and you’ll see virtually EVERY song has been pillaged.
I saw Fred Wesley & The JBs (aka Brown’s band) a few weeks back and man they still OWN the world.

yep. it’s in a number of movies. one example is the movie “Big” with Tom HJanks. It happens when hanks is in the hotel room the first night.
