This album deserves mention! Some seriously twisted riffs. Sloppier playing than traditional DM standards, but the riffs! Everyone listen to “In the Grip of Winter” right now:

DAMN FUCKIN STRAIGHT! Autopsy kicks ass. Most ppl think death metal originated in florida and stockholm, sweden.It fuckin originated in the bay area. First with Possessed, then Autopsy came later. I would even consider Exodus’s Bonded By Blood to have a strong influence on DM
