Eastbound & Down (HBO series)

Is anyone else a fan of this masterpiece?

I hear it’s pretty bizarre. Have yet to check it out.

I don’t have HBO, but I catch bits sometimes on travel and have also watched some clips on YouTube.

It is indeed a masterpiece. I’m gonna buy the DVD’s. Kenny Powers RULES!!!

Come on, Voidhead. You of all people know that someone is a fan of the show.

i thought the first season was gold, my roomie LOVES it, he picked it up on DVD and made me watch it. good stuff…

i havent seen the second season (we dont have Television) but i dont even know how there could be one. i think the first season is perfect… more seems stupid…

I can’t compare season to season as I’ve only seen selected parts of season 1, but I can tell you that the couple episodes I saw of season 2 were pure magic, so I’m guessing they at least squeezed out two good runs.

Now y’all got me amped. I’m gonna see if they have it at Best Buy tonight.

It’s great…the best charcter is the dude that is totally gay for Kenny Powers.

I’ve watched the first season and am looking forward to the 2nd.

Season 2 is done. I saw all but 2 or 3 episodes of it and it’s great!

A lot of people were complaining about it not being as good as season 1 but having seen them all back to back in one night on demand (I was sick and stuck at my mom’s apartment) I thought they were equally hilarious.

The fact that all but 2 of the characters were suddenly switched I thought added to the surreal hilarity of the show.

But they definitely should make a return home for season 3.

Then again I don’t know how season 2 ended cuz I didn’t see the last 2 episodes. Please don’t tell me how it ended.

And yes obviously I knew Manson is a huge fan of this show.

Yeah, it’s a great show. Just caught the first episode of season 2. At first I was worried when I saw him with the cornrows, but it looks like it shows some promise now that he’s trying to get back into baseball. I really couldn’t see this show going for more than a few seasons though, hopefully they will know when to kill it before it jumps the shark.

My all-time favorite television comedy though is still the Canadian classic Trailer Park Boys.
