Funny, I always heard the Dune series (as well as the Children Of Dune) on SciFi was good…
Never saw either, not my thing.
You know, I’ve never seen either version of Dune, the sci-fi version or the Lynch version, which is weird for me being a huge Lynch fan, however he never had control over the final cut of the film and has since disowned the project. I love Jodorowsky as well and wish his version of Dune w/Moebius and Giger would have seen the light of day as it looks amazing! At this point it would be amazing if a new feature-length Jodorowsky film will ever see the light of day.
But yeah if they ever do another Dune they need to do it right… keep hacks like Tim Burton far far away!
I need to get around reading the actual novel one of these days.
