HAHAHA!!!
I think it’s hilarious.
We need MORE of that.
Keep rock and roll dangerous and violent. You wanna get up on stage, you better be ready for what’s coming to ya. If she got up and dove off if wouldn’t have been an issue . . . . but stay up there and start taking selfies . . . yeah, I’m glad homeboy went Hong Kong Phooey on her dumb ass.
To her credit at least she wasn’t a cunt about it either…she got what she deserved and didn’t make any excuses for it and didn’t go in to sue mode…that being said,I am sure some lawyer is in her ear as we speak…
I’m sick of people with phones and i-pads doing stupid shit at shows, so while i think she kinda got what she deserved - i mean, watch the fucking concert, stop looking at yourself you idiot - the guy was unnecessarily rough with her. Plus him and his band all need a good kicking, they’re total crap. Maybe if the girl had better taste in music this wouldn’t have happened. Also, this is the age of equality, so at a show if a lady gets hit i won’t feel any more sorry for her than i would for a stupid man who got up onstage and acted like an idiot.
Anyway, after Dimebag being murdered onstage people need to be careful. There’s a lot of crazies about and anything could happen up there.
Hilarious. And good for her for taking her lumps and staying cool about it.
Next, this guy needs to go down into the crowd and start kicking people with their phones up.

^ This.
I can only imagine what a skinhead / “hate rock” show must be like these days…must be very hard to properly Sieg Heil the band while also filming them with your phone or tablet.

What I do is tape my iPhone to the top of my iPad. I film the hate rock with my iPad and have my iPhone set up with the “instah8” app with runs through a sequence of cute animated seig heil gifs and animations, saves me so much hassle.

Oh man, I totally have to bring you with me when Aryan Krieg 88 and SS BlutKampf Division play here next week. I will buy you a frosty craft brew for your technical advice.
Not joking about this… I read the other day that AMC theatres is going to start allowing people to use their smartphones during the movies. I have a feeling that won’t go over well.
I read that too. Seems like they are catering to a very specific niche in this respect. Lets see how it works out for them
Not so much anymore.
That has to be one of the stupidest - yet shortlived - policies ever. What a buffoon that CEO was even suggesting it, like it wouldn’t trigger a massive fall in ticket sales and constant outbreaks of people beating the shit out of each other in AMC cinemas.

I love how this bozo mentions at the end of the news piece that “you can’t tell a 22 year old to turn his phone off…”
Oh, yes you can - the Alamo theatres chain (hip dine-in theatre chain in Austin, KC and elsewhere) is merciless with their enforcement of the ‘no phones’ rule and I have seen people get escorted out of there for violating it.
They even invite the directors of certain features to film their own pre-showing segments, in which they mock audience members for not paying attention to the movie. I once went to a screening of Mads Brueggers’ excellent “The Ambassador,” and before the film he’s smirking at everyone like “we’re going to find out who you are and slowly dismember you…but even if we don’t find you, we still have your money.”
If there’s anything the glut of theatre-phones has accomplished, they’ve made me actually miss going to shows where that one guy in the front, who believes the movie is a documentary happening in real time, jumps to his feet and shouts stuff like “BITCH, ARE YOU FOR REAL?!!!” at the screen. Thinking of course that he can affect the outcome of the movie. Now that guy is just texting along with the others :-/
The idea of rewarding someone for destroying other patrons’ enjoyment, which they paid good money for, is fucking ridiculous. It’s hard enough to enjoy a film in the cinema with all the popcorn, phones and general idiocy going on without encouraging more of it. People who can’t watch a film without texting need to get a grip of themselves.

You lost me when you mentioned popcorn. Get outta here![/reply]
Ironically i was just enjoying some popcorn about 2 minutes ago, although i suppose i wasn’t interrupting someone’s else’s enjoyment of something while doing it [:)]
