born dec 5, 1962. canadian. czech father english mom. ogre (we were friends in vancouver in the 80s) introduced me to al at a ministry show in toronto in 1988. i was doing “performance poetry” at that time, and when al was recording the mind, he tracked me down in nyc (i was performing with some loisaida “new beats” at the time) called me and recorded our conversation (unbeknownst to me)…the “conversation” on dream song (which al told me he wrote for me) was a discussion 'bout a poem i’d just written entitled “this angel she…”
one day i will find that poem and post it for those who like poetry.
I got that same info a year ago. I’m in the process of updating the site, each individual song, with little retrospectives and stories, notes and what have you for each track.
It’s taken me forever due to the fact that I’ve been busy, haven’t we all? You’ll all be pleased to know that I’m 80%-85% done. Wish I could put a date on it, though.
