Not a big car fan as such, at least these days, but I was fond of (still am I guess) the Group B rally cars of the 1980s. Those things were monsters (500bhp+) and had to be banned cos they were too dangerous.
As regards road cars; Aston Martin DB7 or Vantage are pretty sleak and powerful, obvious “pussy magnets” as Borat would say. But honestly I couldn’t really give a rats arse if I drove a more modest car (I drive a Ford for fucks sake, I can’t be elitist!)
I’ve owned 3 Integras. An '87, a '91 sedan (which I only owned for a short time) and a really nice '93 LS hatchback coupe. The 87 and 93 were 5-speeds. Second generation Integras fit my driving style and needs almost perfectly. I had a rough time selling my 93 a couple of years ago after I bought an '07 Mazda3s which is what I’m driving now. I didn’t want to part with my Integra. They’re really well made cars especially for the $$$.
As for a dream car…I’d be quite happy in something like a Nissan 370Z or an Infiniti G37. They’re almost the same car…same platform, etc. A Porsche Cayman GT also ranks high on my list.
American muscle cars? Never really drove one I liked, and I’ve driven a few. The newer 'Vettes are nice…but for $50K-60K you can get a much better car say an Audi TTS and the Audi doesn’t come with a steering wheel from a Malibu…like the Vette does.
My Mazda has more impressive interior materials than almost any American car I’ve ever been in, especially when compared with GM products. The Big 3 just don’t have it together…which is why they’re in trouble.
LoL Malibu steering wheel on a vette, so true. They do the same thing with the vipers, not necessarily the steering wheel but other parts like the stereo etc are clearly shared with their trucks and suv’s. American automakers only focus on giving their cars cool names and shit, thinking that it’ll totally sell.
Ha ha same here, I’ve always wanted to drive a bulldozer, by having a bulldozer in your driveway I guarantee your neighbors will think twice before pissing you off.

Agreed. My Integra has 167k on it and I drive it 5 days a week.
Used to drive one of these in high school! it was red with a gold stripe on the bottom that said mach 1
automatic trany, 4 barrel carbourator, 351 windsor engine. we’re talking some serious… muscle!!
parents sold it for 3,500 bucks after i moved out of the house!! found out it was worth about 10 times that much since all the numbers on the tranny and the engine matched!!! [pirate]
