Digimix - online audio track editing and building

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share an online application that my good friend digidood has built. It is in alpha stage but you can still get in there and mess around with it. Currently he just has some NIN samples in there for the demo.

here’s a video of it working:

to get the “full” effect you will need FlashPlayer10 beta - but FP 9 works just fine.

I got the ok form him to share it with you guys. So if you can - get in there and mess around with it. if you have any feedback for him or the program you can post it on his blog here: http://www.digimix.com/blog/

Wow cool, Tanks!

What a coincidence… I’m actually piecing together something right now. Think I’ll seriously check this out. Mad props for the linkage.

i’m glad you guys like it. my buddy is very talented. So throw together a mix of some NIN and have fun. you won’t be able to save anything unless you have flash player 10, but its still cool to throw some tracks together with it.

he actually wrote all the effects himself - nothing was “ported” from another program.

i encourage some of you old schoolers to try it too. there are some major entities interested in buying into his work - so who knows maybe you’ll see it out from someone else real soon.

So I was playing with this thing last night, and it’s pretty cool. Slick visuals, crisp sound, and a pretty decent interface. Mind you, it takes for-goddamned-ever to load on my machine, but it’s still pretty fun to make wretchedly good dub mixes of “The Hand That Feeds.”

Excellent work.

I like it- it’s simple and easy to use. and it’s online, which is a cool concept. is there a way to change pitch?

i don’t think you can change the pitch. however, if you change the tempo at the beginning i think it does pitch. i’m not sure tho. but there is delay, flange, and reverb and something else. you can also change the flow of the effects. for example you can flange a delayed sound, or you can delay a flange sound.
