Depeche Mode ended their world tour this evening in Germany.
They outdid themselves last week in London during a gig for charity. A brief reunion with former band member, Alan Wilder:

Nitzer Ebb opened for DM during their final European leg too. I didn’t know they were still together.
Amazing longevity by this band. Almost 30 years at it.
Nitzer Ebb just got through touring the U.S. late last year, and they were fantastic. The new album is awesome too…check it out!
I remember reading how DM were really into going on ebay and collecting old school equipment and were going to incorperate it into the new cd, and I don’t know, i felt kinda let down like they didn’t really live up to what they could have done… not to say the new cd is bad or absolute shit…
that was cool.
Liked the last album. Had an “old” feel to it. Good mix of SOFAD and the older stuff.
