I have a vague sense that I’ve heard of ‘Darker Side of the Spoon’ before, maybe here, but I could be just dreaming about it.
I’m generally not a big fan of remixes but I long for undiscovered material from this era of Min. And I want this elusive, mysterious entity if it is available (somehow)
This topic requires urgent information from an informed source.
“shove in my head” is probably just “shove” from animositisomina. don’t care for the remixes, but if the extended versions of step and nursing home are in good studio cd quality, it would be awesome! 10/10 was probably “extended” by cut/paste style.
the dude from rate yourmusic that contributed to More Pigs and Darker spoon is from Euclid Ohio… You think he’s the Jizzwad we’re missing? http://www.myspace.com/vinmetal

Nah, that guy’s only 18 apparently. Jizzwad I think is in his late 20’s early 30’s [:/]
I remember years ago reading a metal magazine with an article on Ministry. It was during the period that they were recording Filth Pig in Texas. The journo who wrote the piece got the chance to review the album as it was (about 75% finished). He reviewed two tracks which never made the final album: Tinsel and Welt. He said they were amazing - very ‘ambient’.
I wonder what ever happened to those tracks. Damn, where’s Paul Barker when you need him?

I would imagine Welt is now The Fall. Since Welt was the name of that side band that Ogre and Al formed and made Noreen which we know for sure became The Fall.
As Far As Tinsel? who knows??

According to Rey Washam in Maximum Rock’n’Roll, Welt did not become The Fall. Well…actually they used that ‘cascading’ piano solo which was originally in Welt and stuck in The Fall - but apart from that it was a different song. It was written with David Yow (from The Jesus Lizard) in mind. They even brought him down to the Texas compound to rehearse the track but ended up getting hopelessly drunk so nothing got done. Tinsel was a song that had no drums. Glen Campbell’s Witchita Lineman was also recorded but they did not want to have two covers on the album so they left it off. Al chose Lay Lady Lay because Paul hated it so much. They also recorded a song which later became Nursing Home on the Darkside album.
That’s all I can remember from the article. I wish I could find it again as it was really quite good.

Damn, indeed.
As for the Jizz, I’m still wishing him the best, wherever he is. [:(]
well the dude who has this up on his site is a dude from pissarmy and he says he no longer has them anymore but that he posted links to them on pissarmy(Isearched the threads and couldn’t find anything) He also said they should be available through torrents as well although once again i couldn’t find shit!
there is a lady on that site, from australia, where i posted my cd collection who claims to have a copy of it as well but she has not gotten back to me yet.

I’m the person who uploaded those entries to RYM. I am also a long time poster from Piss Army and occasional poster on here.
Someone posted links on Piss Army a few years ago of bootleg remixes that were made by fans of Ministry, and these were the track listings. There were also remixes for Animositisomina, Houses of the Mole, Psalm 69, TLORAH, and Mind. I downloaded the one for TMIATTTT and didn’t bother downloading any of the other ones, they were usually like the vocals from the songs over bad electronica/random movie samples. I deleted it but I do have it on CD somewhere.
I wish I remembered what site had them. They were .zip files uploaded to rapidshare though.
