Create your preferred Ministry set list that has 2 conditions: Its roughly 1 hour long and it cannot contain any songs from Psalm 69 (just to be awkward)
All Day (interspersed with bits of Over the Shoulder, I did that in my college DJ days and it works)
Breathe
Eureaka Pile
Wrong (maybe the update version, I don’t know)
Thieves
Medley (You Know What You Are/We Believe/The Missing)
Crumbs
Land of Rape and Honey
Dead Guy
Never Believe/Cannibal Song
The Fall
Wow…more of Filth Pig ended up on there than I thought would…I guess because I never got to see that stuff live. Of course the older stuff would be updated to make it fit just a little better, but that doesn’t mean drowned out in guitars like We Believe '03! The Fall is a great closer, as in Sphinctour when they walk off the stage and just leave it echoing. Hmmmm…couldn’t really find a place for Revenge in there. And I would love to hear The Gameshow live…God, I’ve turned into a Filth Pig whore!
1- Step
2- Never Believe (with connely on vox)
3- Dead Guy
4- Annimosity
5- Scarecrow
6- Nursing Home
7- Goldendawn which the guitar feedback in the end will directly lead into
8- Bad Blood
9- Deity
10- Breathe (also featuring connelly)
11- Worm
12- The Land of Rape and Honey
I can really picture this list and everyone else’s flowing quite well. great lists so far!
Haha this is a cool threrad. Especially when your as stoned as me and listening to Ministry.

Show Me Your Spine (with Paul doing live bass and Ogre and Connelly singing and Al on keyboards)
Nature Of Love (With Jello doing female vocals instead of chick)
Flashback (with ending going straight into…)
Shortened You Know What You Are with keyboards slightly changing towards end leading into…

Golden Dawn
Paisley (Yeh chilling out for a sec)
but then oh mah gosh
The Great Satan

dudes… (and dudettes)… with all due respect, only one of you listed SO WHAT as one of the songs you would choose in the setlist… Come on, that is one of the best songs alltime !!! They didn’t play that either at the Evil Doer tour although they were coming back for a second show where they might have played it except Dime got killed and they cancelled the show that next night !!! Also didn’t see Just One Fix ! !!
sorry, I’m a new guy, and have only seen Evil Doer, but will never miss another Ministry tour for sure… sorry I missed the part about no Psalm 69 on it…
as for so what - it drags for 11 minutes. god damn. a time for two other songs to fit. i think they should play it anyway, but shorten it up to 6 minutes at least.
and i’d like to see more and more artists sort of crop their songs a bit instead of dragging them too much (like stigmata on sphinctour, it’s 8 minutes…) to fit more songs in the setlist thus doing a bit more fanservice =)))
This is an interesting challenge. Guess love to hear more older stuff, than newer. I had picked some more Filthpig, couple DSOTS and an Animostisomina track, but axed it down and stuck to the earlier stuff.
Primental as an intro. Transition it into:
We Believe(Revamped)
Never Believe(with Chris Connelly)
Cannibal Song(with Chris Connelly)
Gameshow
Flashback(with Ogre)
Just Like You(Revamped)
All Day(Revamped)
The Land of Rape and Honey
Faith Collapsing as an outro of sorts.
Encore of Revenge.
To me that would be an interesting show. Should clock in at about an hour, but differences with any modifications for intros/breaks would push it over an hour.
We Believe(Revamped)
Never Believe(with Chris Connelly)
Cannibal Song(with Chris Connelly)
Flashback(with Ogre)
Just Like You(Revamped)
All Day(Revamped)
Faith Collapsing as an outro of sorts.
Encore of Revenge.
Hmmm. Can’t see this ever happening. I mean seriously, can you? And what for? Can you imagine something like ‘Worthless’ segueing into ‘Should Have Known Better’ ? Ummm, yeah.
Breathe
Reload
Deity
Unsung
Gameshow
Thieves
Supermanic Soul
The Missing
Broken
Cannibal Song
Land Of Rape And Honey
The Fall
Flashback
encore:
No Bunny
So What
And I guess I’d bring back that gnarly microphone thing with the skull and bones and have the band play in a cage like they used to.
And have naked chicks serving beer before the gig…
Why you gotta be wrecking my dream? [:P] The custom setlist idea is like the dream setlist to me. Throw a bunch of junk on the list for the hell of it. Else, could close my mind and pick all of Psalm 69 to be a dick. [laugh]
