My festival days are long behind me, but this lineup is pretty loaded with '80s new wave, punk, goth, and some newer bands. I’ve seen a good portion of these bands already, so I doubt I will make the roadie. The idea of cramming all this into a single day seems a little crazy (I would assume there will be multiple stages). Ticket prices are what you would expect for a festival. Richard Blade announced this about a half-hour ago, thought this might interest some folks here.

Holy fuck that is a pretty impressive line up(for the most part), but wait, someone is actually carrying on the Christian Death moniker?..first I’ve heard of that…
I’m exaggerating how much he pays in the area, but I saw him a ton when moved to the states. I was a huge fan as a kid, but since he abandoned synth pop and went full Marilyn Manson NuIndustrial I’m not as into him. I only wish I’d been there around the time of Telekon, one of my favorite albums of all time
That’s funny, it was the first thing I thought of. I have been holding on to some old '80s posters for years, which belong to a friend. One of them is a Return Of The Living Dead poster, which lists some of the bands on a stone grave marker. That name always stuck out to me for some dumb reason.
“God damn dipshit Rodriguez gypsy dildo punks. I’ll get your ass”
Repo Man is one of the greatest cult films of all times…another that I’ve watched endlessly…could probably recite the whole film…my favorite Alex Cox film for sure…
Suburbia I have seen many times as well…first time I saw it was in the late 80s under the influence of psycho active drugs…in the opening scene when the dog attacks the little kid, I knew I was in for some shit…great film that could never get made today…I always feel bad for people who used to try to get this film and ended up getting Richard Linklaters film if the same name…a far inferior film…Penelope made some great films and some that were pure shit…this one is definitely one of, if not the best she did…
It is a monster lineup but I just didn’t want to do some giant soccer stadium megafest jibber jabber. I really just want to see DEVO, so hopefully they’ll have a headlining gig sometime around here.
