Here’s the task:

Fourteen tracks to make up a compilation of your favourite ‘metal - era’ Ministry tracks. That’s include anything from Psalm 69 onwards! That’s fifteen years of Ministry cuts to choose from. Shouldn’t be too hard…!

(Doesn’t have to be in chronological order - mix em up for fun…)

In a sense, create your OWN Rantology.

ok, here… this is my vision of what rantology should have been. it’s pretty much and extended repackage of “ministry box” german import, but hey - it’s just like early trax is a repackage of twelve inch singles cd.

CD1 - lorah/mind/psalm trio:

  1. stigmata (remix, from the single)

  4. burning inside (extended version)
  5. smothered hope (live)
  6. breathe (from in case video)
  7. the land of rape and honey (from in case video)

  11. jesus built my hotrod (redline/whiteline)

  4. lay lady lay (edit) or high quality acoustic live from bridge school show

Well, I know I’m not respecting the “Psalm 69 and on” criteria, but this is what I would’ve wanted Rantology to be:

1.) Thieves
2.) I prefer
3.) Burning Inside (an electronic version)
4.) Deity
5.) Just One Fix
6.) Cannibal Song (a version with Al on vocals)
7.) Kaif
8.) Isle of Man (a 2006 version)
9.) Where you at now? - Flashback (a mix)
10.) The Light Pours Out of Me
11.) Everyday (is halloween) (a 2006 version)
12.) We Believe (a 2006 version, but without the bass guitar)
13.) LORAH

And to promote this version of Rantology, Al would sport a new hairdo cut short like Eminem and bleached blond too with no more facial hair. Hah, that would be awesome!

just a random little thing ive recently stumbled upon, Dead Practice, is in my theory, the old name for Supermanic Soul, or possibly a sort of “continuation” song like Supermanic Soul “part 2” er something. Reason for thinking this is cos in Supermanic Soul, Al screams dead practice in it. Like the end part where its like “Dead!..(guitar part)… Prac-tice!..(guitar part)… Dead!..(guitar part)… Practice! (goes to that end guitar + drum thing which repeats a bunch of times)”

For awhile I thought it was “Death! Take This!” or “Dead! Make This!” but yeh. Just thought Id leak that little info to yall…

Which doesn’t really make any sense either.

most probably it’s “dead! break this!” in supermanic soul. during some scenes in ai movie during the flesh fair stuff besides the short bit of what about us you can hear lock box verse riffs pounding but no vocals. in the film credits ministry is credited for what about us and dead practice, thus making dead practice an early lockbox version.

This is by far the best idea for a mix i’ve heard so far…although I might substitute a few of these songs with something else (namely “Piss” and “Warp City”)

Now it may seem like this is mostly just the singles from their respective albums, but here’s the thing. In MY Rantology, all of them would be remixed. Really remixed by different people, not just the old song with a new GWB sample tacked on at the beginning.
