Anyone heard the Spiderbait version. Some aussie no-bodies (well afaik no-bodies out side of australia anyway) can kick Al’s ass.
They played the hell out of that in Atlanta for awhile. I wondered why Al was doing it when it 's just been done.

The Spiderbait version is fantastic. Their original stuff is pap but that cover’s great.
I’ve always thought of it as a cross between a Primus and mid - late 90’s Ministry kind of sound and been looking forward to hearing how the Ministry version matches up to it.
They used to play the Ram Jam version of Black Betty before all UNH Hockey team home games. Then people got all pissy about it, and they had to stop.
Spiderbait’s version is pretty good however. Al’s is a distant 4th.

joey did.
jerry from the misfits played bass on the track too!
I gave about half the songs a listen last night…
Weren’t you the guy on the Piss Army Admonishing people for downloading Music before it’s released?? (or was that just to score favor with Angie?) I’m pretty sure it was you. Funny how you turned coat in this instance.

At 346 Courics.
A cover up! What is new? Corruption! You’ve been screwed!!!
Downloading music is a good thing.
Good promotion for artists.
Good for the buyer…i.e if we like it we’ll buy the material product.
OK, so I finally broke down and picked up “Cover Up” (I got tired of waiting for eMusic to get it). I like the first three songs and also enjoy “What a Wonderful World”. The rest of it is not very good. Would have made a good E.P.
“Under My Thumb” and “Radar Love” are definitely the highlights for me. Both are pretty cool covers.
I think eMusic might not publish it due to various copyright laws that have to do with cover albums. I could be wrong though.
I began to wonder the same thing, that’s why I bought it while it was still discounted.
eMusic’s got it.

It’s listed as “Ministry and Co-conspirators”.
BTW, check out my Ministry related emusic list and telling me if I’m missing anything:

Damn it, I should have looked closer. Ah well - the packaging is attractive at the very least.
Beatles cover on japanese version…don’t know why it wasn’t a regular track, no better or worse than the rest of them, pretty “orchestral” arrangement.
um yeah, can anyone share that track by the way??

It’s not released under Tko Japan records. What publisher?

it IS TKO Records…
DDCZ-1531
wow. the cover was also just usual “more metalized” version of the original, but it’s the best one in my opinion, of all the cover up track list. and i can see why they removed it though, it’s not “party enough”.
Is anybody soulseeking this?
