Below are services that 479.2 million could have bought for my peeps up in Cleveland:

48, 784 = Homes with renewable electricity

24, 772 = children with health care

14, 601 = people with health care

6, 726 = head start places for shorties

5, 390 = scholarships for university students

1, 045 = public safety officers

899 = port conatainer inspectors

740 = elementary school teachers

667 = music + arts teachers

406 = affordable housing units

4 = new elementary schools

But hey - who gets all this fat muthaf*cken cash you ask???

Private military contractors account for 294.9 billion in 2006 war spending ( up 63% since our invas - er peace keeping mission ).

Perhaps it’s the numbers that inspire the inflammatory comments. I guess those with the Neg. things to say assume everyone is well aware of the numbers. To optomistic I guess?

My father worked for Halliburton/KBR. This country has absolutely no idea how much money goes over there and it goes straight to them. It’s disgusting. Anyone who is interested should seek out a book called “Betraying Our Troops”, a book released earlier last year on privatized contractors in the Middle East. It’s a real eye-opener.
