I’ve seen very similar UFOs in Sydney on two occassions and in Auckland, NZ once. They weren’t as close as those Jerusalem ones although they did shoot off eventually the exact same way.
The first two times I saw them in Sydney was with numerous other folk too.

I saw this program the other night and it was a horror show. Why do Americans try to insult each other’s intelligence so badly? I knew the History Channel has major flaws but this took the biscuit.
The story itself however is really cool. Unsolved Mysteries profiled it and although it is far from a perfect recount of what happened it kills that Meltzer shite.

I don’t know the DB story other than what I saw on that show. I have a real problem with the “facts” of the history channel as well, so it does’t surprise me the messed it up, but what did they miss in DB cooper?

Their whole premise was a joke; they fingered this guy Christensen and then went about trying to prove it was him. A pathetic case of confirmation bias. The “evidence” they had was so weak and circumstantial. The seem to rely on things like a picture of this dude wearing a dark coat and carrying a similar case to what D.B. Cooper had with him at the time of the hijacking. Seriously? The guy did not match the physical description given by those who saw D.B. Cooper and they interviewed none of the best eye witnesses of the dude; the flight attendants who had to deal with Cooper. Then they go pick on an old friend of this Christensen dude. They ask him the worst, most leading and accusatory questions they could. And then these hacks walk away thinking they’ve solved the case. Fucking losers.

Regarding conspiracies where the government or a government agency is accused of plotting such acts, I think it’s more so that they have been negligent in some form or another and then make a balls of their “official story”. But also you can never really deal with something perfectly until it happens and then you learn to get a handle on it.

I agree with ya dude. If nothing else those buildings looked like a controlled demolition. I honestly think those building were built with the explosives built into the building as a self destruct type mechanism that way if something like 9/11 happened they could demolish it without the buildings toppling over and taking out the rest of the reale state in manhatten.(sp?)

The section where the planes hit weaked and the top collapsed onto like a hammer on top of the nail below it.
So all supports collapsed at the same time? you would think that the side where the plane hit would’ve been the first to go, since it was weakened by the pane hitting it and then set on fire, no? how do all 4 corners go at the same time when one side of the building took considerably more damage than the other side?
I’m not saying planes didn’t hit the tower and all of those people didn’t die on the planes, that totally happened.(this is usually the rebuttal from people who get angry with “demolition thinkers”) what I’m saying is that the buildings had help falling down. Is it really just happy coincidence that BOTH towers fell in such a manner that the real estate around it was pretty much spared from any real damage? boy, what luck on a such a tragic day.
and not to stray too far into the land of the nutty, BUT I hear ramblings about building 4 or 7 (some building with a number attached to it) that fell in the exact same manner without ever being hit… WTF? any truth to this?

The 9/11 conspiracy fever is a product of conspiracy culture.
We need a voice of a structural engineer familiar with the design of the twin towers to lay it out but the collapse of the buildings makes sense to me. All four sides don’t need to completely snap at the same time irrespective of each other, like what you’d have with a detonation. If they are already weakened and one significant support snaps the pressure it was supporting can cause the rest of it to go. You can find parallels in demolishing frameworks and partitions, of which I’ve being doing for the past few weeks.
surely an obvious way to see whether they pre-empted this type of catastrophe by implanting explosives during the construction of the buildings would be to actually look at other buildings, not only in New York but throughout the States. It’s not like they’d have only done it to those buildings that collapsed, they’d have to do it to all large buildings in densely populated areas.
So they detonated it from the top down? Nonsense. If it crumbled from the bottom up you might have something but it didn’t.
