Should be an awesome read. Chris Connelly’s book “Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible and Fried: My Life As a Revolting Cock” is available for pre-orders through Amazon.com:
yeah, I’ll be picking this up.
wow. i might actually read a book this year.
holy fuck thats awesome! funally the real story on what the hell went on behind and on the stage for those that dont havee access to the bootlegs and didnt see them live pre-2006. loved marilyn manson’s autobiography but this one might be able to top it in the drug-enduced tomfoolery category.
Unlike manson’s book, this one may actually be accurate…Some of the things in manson’s book seem a little…fabricated, if that’s the right word for it. I’ll probably check this one out. Need a job first though…unless barnes and noble would happen to get it.
I suspect Connelly’s a straight shooter. Manson? Not so much.
Should be a fascinating read.
this one is guaranteed bulletproof. on very good authority, by the way.
Looks like a good one. Doesn’t come out until Halloween (or thereabouts), according to Chris’ site. I’ll be buying this.
Hey wempathy, how about a book of memoirs about the With Sympathy days?! I’d definitely pay for that.

Seconded, as per both items.
Oh, i’m willing to bet there’s going to be a lot of dirty stuff towards Al. I’m sure it’ll be more than an interesting read though. But maybe further and more detailed info on why he declined the RevCo reunion. I wouldn’t have anyway, purely based on where ministry has gone in the last few years. But from what chris says on his forum, it’s pretty harsh.
chris needs to explain to noone.his book will be awesome. i can’t wait, and meanwhile i have difficulty shutting up about it. try my best.
He doesn’t need to do anything. But he surely feels like he wants to put some of his life out there.
every single person who has known and worked with al since chicago has said al needs to be the big fish in the little pond.it’s curious you bring up this image . why the hell is he in el paso. to monitor border crossings? it’s a cheap cheap place to live.
chris didn’t create al as the enemy. i believe it was the other way around. sounds familiar.
Has anyone heard Connelly’s new album, btw?
If you mean “The Episodes,” it’s fantastic. He’s really found his own voice as a solo artist, now.
I think he’s always found his voice as a solo artist. Maybe now he’s finally accepted as a solo artist rather than just being that guy from RevCo. I’ve only heard Phenobarb, which I liked a good bit. Always meant to check out more. I have a bunch of stuff he’s collaborated on though.
