Just found these…I have many more but need to find them:
Hell yea. Mine old ones are in the attic, but i’m tempted to see what I can find.

Need to find this ticket…this show was insane! Such a small place with like 500 people.

Mad props for the '86 Metallica show under your belt, Hoss! I technically saw Red Hot Chili Peppers that same year (performing at the top of a giant skate ramp at intermission of a huge skateboard contest) but my first “REAL” concert was, I think, in 1990 – Ozzy Osbourne w/ LA Guns, Lynch Mob, and Alice in Chains.
I long ago stopped collecting stuff because it took up too much space and I get unhealthily obsessed, but I wish I’d kept my stubs. They’re super compact and don’t take up space. I do always find random past stubs, though, whenever I don my vest for a gig.
i keep my stubs in the cds of the concerts iv’e been at of the time.
I have thousands of stubs starting from 1979 to present…dork city…
I don’t collect those. I’d say 90% or more of the shows I’ve been to didn’t involve paper tickets.
I’ve been to a shit load also that didn’t require stubs…I have a bunch that are just flyers…you used a flyer to get in…and some were just wrist bands…many just hand stamps…
I’ve paid at the door or paid online where they put your name on the list.
The most interesting ticket stubs I have are from London and Dublin with the holograms on them. The next most interesting are NIN.com presale tickets with foil text, a graphic, and my name printed on them.
I do WILL CALL every chance I get because I don’t trust myself to not lose a ticket before a show.
See I like to have the tickets so that way when we are 30 minutes into the drive on the way to see the show I can fake my friends out by saying I left the tickets…and then everyone gets pissed off and bummed out and then like a giant douche I pull them out and yell “hahahahah just kidding, fucko’s”…and everyone laughs and/or tells me to fuck off and then we all crack open another beer and ride on to the show…

At least you were joking around.
I’ve had a friend that forgot his ticket and we had to go back to get it.

I’ve done that once. My friend and I drove 30 minutes to see REM with Concrete Blonde opening. We got there and we had no tickets and had to go back and get them. We missed Concrete Blonde but got to see the whole boring REM show.[/reply]
UHHHH!
I started asking him every time after that if he had the tickets as soon as we met to get in the car together.
Revco,
In 2009, I went to see Conan O in California as host of the Tonight Show before Jay stepped back into hosting. Sandra Bullock was the guest that day. I thought it was interesting to see a taping and then the show air that night because you know what parts were edited out.
