I remember now seeing a band called “Lamones Young” in Osaka (a mash-up of “Ramones” and LaMonte Young, the minimalist composer known for holding notes for a very long time.)
Basically, the whole show consisted of a painfully drawn out version of the Ramones’ famous " 1 2 3 4!" count-in. They would have started playing Blitzkrieg Bop or something, but they were an opening act and they had to leave the stage sometime that night.
