In a sorta-kinda not really bit of serendipity; I was originally gonna post the “band names” thread as a “band mash-up” thread, so this all works out nicely. Some early, ‘not trying to think too hard’ suggestions:

M.C. Clawhammer

Tears for Fear Factory

Machines of Loving Grace Jones

Wu-Tang Clan of Xymox

Gladys Nightwish and the Pips

Rudy Ray Morrissey

Tad Nugent

Strawberry Alarm Clock DVA

Tool & The Gang

I had to do a double take and see that you already riffed on Death Cab for Cutie…so Napalm Death Cab for Cutie is to be considered an “outtake” from this jam session :-/.

And frankly Rudy Ray Morrissey has never been the same since he left the Smiths, or ever again equaled the tear-jerking majesty of his college radio hit “BEEEOOOOOTCH in a Coma”

Mindless Seal Indulgence

Hawk Wind & Fire

Herbie Revolting Hancocks

Mercury Revco

GWAR.E.M.

Buddy of mine has a band called E=MC Hammer.

Iggy Pop Will Eat Itself
