The idea that Paul contractually can’t be in a band containing the word “Cock”–and even further that they would persist with the name “Cocksure” if it meant excluding him and he actually wanted to do it–seems very silly.

What Chris said was that Paul “couldn’t be involved in any kind of penis related recording projects.” It amuses me to think that a legal contract exists with that exact wording.
There must’ve been some terms to the settlement prohibiting him from using any variation of Ministry/RevCo, etc. That way he couldn’t tour as Paul Barker’s Revolting Cocks or whatever.

Why wouldn’t Paul have the rights to Lead Into Gold? It was primarily his project all along.
I think it’s too connected with AL to move forward and be released. Who knows! I just want to hear the tunes. I’ll just go a little crazy and say, I don’t really get why hearing one of the tunes on a radio broadcast is any different than throwing it on youtube privately.
Complete speculation here - but I think much of the publishing rights have changed or been renegotiated after the Al & Paul lawsuit.

My friend and I scored the last 2 tickets for SF on Friday! I was gonna try to chance it the day of, but it sold out 2 weeks ago. They then had 25 tickets available as of this last Friday and we were lucky to get the last 2 the next morning! I also got caught up by getting burned copies of TVMALSV and Corporate Sting. Definitely stoked for this one. I might have to have him sign my Book Club Edition of Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible + Fried…

bummer, just saw it’s sold out with no tickets being sold at the door. I work only 10 mins from the venue too. maybe they’ll release a few more tickets over the next few days.
That’s the place, Sean. I bought tickets back in April, they were only $15, which is a bargain these days. I had a feeling it would sell out. There are people selling their tickets on the event page on FB, usually those that have to work or can’t afford to travel this weekend. You might be able to get a pair at face value?
