When he re-records RevCo’s greatest hits Cleopatra and they pimp them out for endless dubstep remixes, then you’ve got a problem.
Yeah, it was mentioned here not too long ago that Al sold his Wax Trax era material to Cleopatra, so that must include the side projects, or…who knows…maybe just RevCo. Not sure if guys like Mallinder or MacKaye would even give a crap at this point if Acid Horse and/or Pailhead was reissued. I’m sure Cleo’s designers will do their worst to ruin the artwork on all of the new versions.
…and they did. YGDSOB has some really bad color saturation, and for whatever stupid reason, the ‘wheel’ was lazily re-drawn with the title re-typed in a shitty font. Track 12 is listed as “P.I.L.” instead of “Public Image”. The BSL art looks untouched, but still no Benign mix of You Often Forget.

I think he’s just licensed the material to be re-issued. Then again, Cleo has skirted legalities before and just put out material without permission. PIG comes to mind.
